If you use Twitter for business you no doubt would like to maximise the response from your tweeting. Whether that response is clicking through your links or replying to your tweets.
A great infographic has been put together by Dan Zarrella based on some research that he did.
Some key points:
- Don’t tweet out a link more than once an hour
- Tweet slightly less than the 140 characters allowed
- Tweeting over the weekend and in the afternoon yields better results (implicit in this is relative to the timezone your followers are in – one of the reasons that we developed PowerPost)
- Place the links in your tweets either 25% of the way through or at the end of your tweet
- Use action verbs
